Overview

PNW Arms Range ammunition was designed to provide a clean burning, pleasant shooting round with mild recoil at an economical price point.

A wide range of components were tested and selection was based on balancing performance, cost and quality. As with all our ammunition, the final design was tested in a wide range of weapons to ensure flawless functioning. We believe that our Range rounds are second to none and will let you enjoy shooting for extended periods of time without breaking the bank.

Brass
Most of our pistol Range rounds use once fired brass and to ensure as-new performance, we are sourcing it from suppliers that guarantee it was fired once and once only. In addition, the brass goes through a multi stage reconditioning process which ensures that what we end up with is as good as new. As reconditioning of once fired bottle neck rifle cartridges is a lot more difficult and costly, our rifle rounds exclusively use new brass.

Bullets
Our pistol Range rounds use top quality double-striked plated bullets. For range use, these bullets have several advantages over traditional jacketed bullets. The led core is fully encapsulated by the copper plating, prevents led burn-off during firing and makes sure you don’t inhale any harmful vapors. Double striking by the manufacturer ensures core uniformity and our testing showed excellent accuracy and consistency. As plated bullets are softer than traditional jacketed bullets, they put less stress on your barrel, run at lower pressures and reduce wear and tear on your gun.
